Well, I haven't posted in several months, so I thought I'd better post an update on what's been happening in our lives.
July: We went to Girl's camp at the end of July and had a great time. This was an amazing year! I was First year certification leader, and I was also there as a stake young women's secretary. I was so impressed with the girls this year. We didn't have any problems. Everyone seemed to get along, and I didn't see any girls that didn't have a group that they fit in with. We had some really great speakers, and some really spiritual experiences. I even enjoyed the hikes. We had Grant Call on our hike, and I always enjoy being with him or Joanna in nature because they are both like going on a hike with a walking encyclopedia. I am amazed at the knowledge they have about all the things in the forest. I always learn a lot whenever the Calls are around.
This was one of the best year ever at camp! Thanks Debbie Davis and her presidency for making it all work!
August:Our Stake Youth Opening social was this month and WOW! We had a luau. there were tons of kids there. We had lots of activites, and a dance. The kids seemed to have a great time. It got a little hot and smelly with all the kids in the gym dancing, but it didn't seem to slow them down very much. It was great.
Sept: This month didn't have a whole lot of exciting things going on. Rachel is enjoying school. She loves her sign language class.
Oct: Our ward had an overnight youth conference in Prescott. Rob and I were asked to drive up, so we went and had a great time. We have some really good kids (and leaders) in our ward. I drove the 12-13 yr olds in my car, and it was fun to get to know them. There were some speakers, some activities, a service project, and a testimony meeting. It went really well. I know all the kids had a great time. It is amazing how being out in nature away from all the regular things in your life helps you to become more aware of the spirit.
All in all, the past few months have been busy, and fun. I am still watching Lexi which I love, and I get to see Kolsen and Callie pretty often which is great too. Kim even works close to our house, so I get to have her come visit me too. I love my family so much! I feel really blessed that all our girls, and their families have stayed close to home. I know that is a rare thing.

Lexi's weekend with Grandma & Grandpa
Have you ever had one of those really bad hair days? When Lexi woke up this morning this is what we saw. WOW!!! (She had pony tails for church yesterday.)
Heather and Spencer celebrated their 3rd anniversary this weekend, so we got to keep Lexi all weekend so they could have some time together. She is a lot of fun right now. She just keeps talking from the minute she wakes up, till she goes to bed. We took her with us to church, and discovered that she loves the little doodle pad we bought to keep her busy. I was such a prepared grandma and packed books, toys and snacks to keep her distracted and quiet during church, and all she wanted to do was write on the doodle pad. I couldn't believe it kept her busy and quiet all through the meeting. She loved nursery too. I guess she is just a little social butterfly just like her mom was at that age. It's kind of scary because she really isn't afraid of anyone. We are glad we get to see our grandkids so often. They are all so much fun. We are lucky to have our children close by.

Family is a wonderful thing!
We finally got our pictures from Kimberly and Cameron's wedding. I just wanted to post this one of our family. It is nice to finally have a few boys around for Rob. I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to have these children in my life. There is nothing I love more than just being with our kids and grandkids. Rob and I are very lucky!

Well I am finally putting something on this blog. It has been an eventful month or so. Natalie just had a baby girl. She actually has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks because of premature labor. They wanted her to hold on until she was 36 weeks along, and she did. The Davis family welcomed Callie Davis to the family on Friday April 4th At about 4:30p.m. She is very healthy and very cute!! She weighed 6lbs. 5oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She has lots of black hair, and looks a lot like her brother Kolsen. We are so happy that everything went well. Callie was very anxious to come and join her family. We are so grateful that Natalie has Jason who supported her through some rough days these past few weeks. We are glad everyone is healthy and together at home tonight.

Febrary 22, 2008
Well, I decided to give this a try since most of my children have a blog. I guess this is a good way to keep track of things in our lives, since I'm not very good at keeping a journal.
